Military & Enforcement Consulting & Training for Film & Television

We bring real-world soldiers, police and special-ops professionals to
your production — training actors, choreographing tactical scenes,
and supplying authentic personnel and kit so your story looks,
sounds and feels real.

Director-friendly. Safety-first. Budget-smart.

Kurt Logan’s Film Commandos & SWAT is a production-facing
advisory service run by an actor with deep operational experience
and decades of industry collaboration. We specialise in delivering
practical, realistic military and police authenticity for film, TV and
streaming projects — from background personnel and weapons
training supervision to choreographed close-quarters combat,
formation drills, vehicle tactics and in-scene coaching.

We save productions time and money by solving the technical
problems that slow shoots down: we design efficient blocking for
complex tactical scenes, pre-train actors so fewer takes are needed,
and supply vetted personnel and equipment to reduce procurement
headaches.

Our Services

  • Tactical Advising & Scene Design — script breakdown, tactical realism notes, and shot-blocking advice so
    action reads correctly on camera.

  • Actor Training — military bearing, marching, radio procedure, room-clearing/CQB choreography, weapons
safety drills, and role-specific tradecraft to make performances believable.

  • Tactical Choreography for Camera — safe, cinematic CQB, entry/egress, hand-to-hand, vehicle assaults,
    perimeter control, and arrest sequences.

  • Equipment & Personnel Supply — vetted former military/police extras, specialist role-players (officers,
medics, interpreters), and access to a wide range of non‑lethal firearms, blank-firing weapons and
    authentic kit.

  • Unit/Formation Drill & Parade — authentic marching, formation movement and small-unit drill for
    ceremonies or background realism.

  • Technical Liaison — coordinate with armourers, stunt coordinators, pyrotechnics and production safety
officers so tactical sequences are safe, legal and camera-ready.

  • Budget & Scheduling Consultancy — tactical shoot plans that reduce set time and costly re-shoots by
    aligning realism with production constraints.

Why productions Choose Us

  • Authenticity—audiences and critics notice when a unit moves, speaks and behaves like the real thing. We find the centre of truth for each character and scene.

  • Efficiency—fewer takes, fewer safety issues and faster set-up because actors and background are trained before cameras roll.

  • Cost Savings—improved planning and experienced role-players reduce overtime, reshoots, and equipment procurement delays.

  • Safety-First Methodology—we work closely with armourers, stunt coordinators and production safety officers to ensure all sequences are performed safely and legally.

Sample Training Modules :

  • Basic Military Bearing & Drill—posture, marching, salutes, formation movement (half-day)

  • Intro to CQB for Actors—safe room entry, stacking, target awareness, foot printing for camera (1–2 days)

  • Advanced Tactical Choreography—multi-room clears, hostage extract, dynamic entry sequences (multi-day)

  • Police Arrest & Control—compliant and non-compliant arrest techniques, cuffing, transport procedures (1 day)

  • On-Set Tactical Continuity — script supervision for tactical sequences and continuity notes (per shoot day)

Q: Can you provide cast or extras from specific nations/units?

A: Yes — our roster includes personnel from multiple countries and unit backgrounds. Tell us the look, language and skillset you need.

Q: How far in advance should we book?

A: For full advisory packages and unit supplies, 4–8 weeks recommended. For single-day coaching, shorter lead times may be available.
